God isn't bland. The Church shouldn't be, either.
God Gave You Gifts; You Should Use Them!

I don’t know about you, but as a creative/geek, sometimes I feel kind of left out when it comes to applicable “mission trip skills”; I’m not a doctor. I’m not a musician. I know nothing about construction. I only know English (though I hope to change that one day). Of the trips I’ve been on over the years, outside of interpersonal evangelism, a lot of the time I feel like nothing but a lump on a log.

With this in mind, I was beyond excited to hear Cleve lay out his vision for Creative Missions in one of our many geeky conversations just over a year ago. It sounded like I’d finally have an opportunity to get out there and serve with the gifts God has specifically wired me with. I can’t run a dental clinic, but I can write some code for a church in need all day long. You may not have the chops to lead worship, but I’m sure many of you can whip up killer logos, brainstorm branding, and build online communities like there’s no tomorrow. Now’s your chance to get out there and serve.
